Water Equity, Safety and Access
Public Health Advocate/Consultant, Elizabeth Monteadora, will lead our 'water themed' discussion regarding water equity and how it affects our health, our children's well-being and our environment. We will cover: safe drinking water access in our schools water management practices impacting our local drinking water and our health the impact of commercial farming vs organic farming Standing rock Children's Healthy Beverage Ordinance water management best practices and solutions for our planet, communities, families & future generations potential grant/funding opportunities for California (Solano County) agricultural operations Elizabeth Monteadora is a Public Health Advocate/Consultant who has partnered with various nonprofits, community clinics/health centers, school districts and individuals in the arena of health equity, chronic disease prevention/early detection and HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living). Her passion for health and wellness stem from being part of a family that believes in living a healthy lifestyle. She is inspired to make a difference by creating healthy change for our communities and environment, especially for our children and future generations
