Great Vallejo Sailboat Race

Come down watch the longest running inland sailboat race finish after racing from the Richmond waterfront to Vallejo. This is a great opportunity to watch over 100 boats cross the finish line and tie up in the Vallejo Yacht Club harbor. There will be food and dancing into the evening for sailors and spectators alike. For more than 125 years, the Vallejo Yacht Club has been an institution in the local community and the greater San Francisco Bay boating community. The club is a wonderful place to gather on the waterfront, build lasting friendships, and enjoy a wide variety of social activities and watersports. Members enjoy a full calendar of racing and boating events. Membership includes both boat owners and those who simply enjoy being around the water. The club offers sailing lessons and maintains a fleet of club-owned sailboats for members to use. Vallejo Yacht Club is one of the few clubs on the Bay that owns its marina and regularly dredges it. The marina features a newly built seawall, reconstructed docks, and about 125 slips of various sizes. It is truly a fun and inviting place to spend time.
