Bobby Walker Blues Band

Like most musicians, Bobby Walker plays all kinds of stuff. Except Top 40. He doesn’t fit into the scheme of things in the mainstream musical world and says he never has. Walker discovered the beauty of Grand County as a kid in the 1960s and as an adult he came back out from California with a (then) little-known bass player many in the county may recognize named Arnie J. Green. They played all over the Three Lakes area for almost two decades at places like Pancho & Leftys, EGs and the Corner Cupboard. Walker plays everything from music that is soulful and meaningful to funky dance tunes, beginning his recording career in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in performance (from Mesa State College) and the release of a 45 single Rocket in My Pocket. Since then, he has celebrated 10 other releases. His most recent work is a compilation of the best of the past 15 years titled Bobby Walker released in 2008.
