Dolphin Discovery

Get in the water with our Atlantic bottlenose dolphins where you will spend quality time swimming with these marine mammals in a rare hands-on learning session.

The Dolphin Discovery program begins with a fun classroom session followed by an up-close, interaction directly with the dolphins.  During the program, you will learn all about our marine mammals.  Our trainers will tell you how we care for and train these wonderful creatures, and we will answer all your questions.  Space in the program is limited and fills up fast. Make your reservation early!

$135 / person (park admission is not included) 
Minimum height 52".
Participants over 52" but under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a paid adult participant.

The Dolphin Discovery program is available seven days a week throughout the year, and runs from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Backstage Safari

Discovery #40: Our animals' homes are much like yours. Take a peek behind-the-scenes. Meet Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's exotic mammals, birds, reptiles and insects through our exclusive behind-the-scenes guided tour.

With Backstage Safari, you get one-on-one trainer time in three different animal areas and a VIP peek at places like our veterinary clinic or African lion exhibit. You never know what you might see.

Sign up at the park in the Explorer Outpost before 2pm on the day of your visit.

$18 (does not include park admission)
