| 48th Annual Vallejo Chamber Golf Tournament is a Success! |
|
The Vallejo Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 48th Annual Golf Tournament "Rockin' At The Rock !" at the beautiful Blue Rock Springs "West" Golf Course on Friday, 12 August 2011. Over 100 golfers hit the links on a gorgeous day with phenomenal "Vallejo" weather!
As is the tradition, we had several business members and local service groups serve as "Hole Sponsors" presenting their business or organization in a fun, positive light on the course. The winner of "Best Hole Host" this year was our good friends from TEAM SUPERSTORES! With delicious treats and great give away items on the 11th Tee.

This year, in keeping with the tournament theme, the committee also presented an outstanding evening rock concert. The concert, done in conjunction with Blue Rock Springs Golf Club and sponsored by our great friends at SYAR Foundation, featured the "Red Hot Rockin' Soul" of The Fundamentals, a high octane, fun filled group featuring three dynamic vocalists, two of the hottest horn players around and a super four piece rhythm section ... several members of the group are local Vallejo talent. What a great way to cap off a perfect day of golf !
The Chamber would like to thank Blue Rock Springs Golf Club, all of our Cornerstone Sponsors especially: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Team Superstores, Vallejo Times Herald, Island Energy, Recology Vallejo, MV Transportation, Skyview Memorial Lawn, Kaiser Vallejo, Markstein Beverage, Weston Solutions, Avisotek, Minuteman Press Miyoji Productions, Touro University - Vallejo, CA, ARC, Inc. At the recent Vallejo Chamber of Commerce Winemakers Dinner and Auction, our good friend Fabrice Moschetti donated a fantastic prize which became one of the highlight items of the night. His gift included a pound of his delectable “Coffee of the Month” per week for six months! This item was purchased by Michael and Peter Wilson and they are enjoying their prize as we speak.
As most already know, Moschetti is a real hidden gem in Vallejo located at 11 Sixth Street right off Curtola Parkway. Fabrice and his crew roast their coffee daily so you can be assured of the most flavorful, aromatic and freshest products, all the time. If you are a daily coffee hack, a coffee snob, or a true aficionado, there is no replacement for super fresh coffee, there is no replacement for Moschetti Coffee. Try it!
