SolTrans Unveils New Bus Wrap with Solano Community College and STA
Vallejo, CA – Solano Community College students and staff are in for a big surprise when they arrive on campus to begin the Spring 2020 semester on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. SolTrans with Solano Transportation Authority (STA) and their partnership with Solano Community college will unveil a SolTrans SolanoExpress bus wrapped with pictures to promote students enrollment and their “Ride Free with your Student ID” fare. All Solaon Community College students with a valid student ID can ride on all SolTrans and FAST local routes and SolanoExpress routes within Solano County.
The unveiling will take place at Solano Community College, 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield near Building 1400 on Tuesday, January 14th. SolTrans, STA staff and campus faculty will be promoting the bus and printing student ID cards from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The public is invited to come out and see the bus during these hours.
Solano Community College is served by the SolTrans’ SolanoExpress Red Line North at stops on Suisun Valley Rd and Kaiser Dr. and by FAST’s Route 7 near the 500 Building on campus.

Solano County Transit (SolTrans) has been the public transportation provider for south Solano County since July 2011. SolTrans provides local and SolanoExpress fixed routes, complementary paratransit, and subsidized Lyft programs. The agency is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) that is governed by a six-member Board of Directors, composed of two representatives from the cities of Benicia and Vallejo, Solano County’s representative on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), and a representative from the Solano Transportation Authority.
