SolTrans announces Partnership with Amtrak
Vallejo, CA – SolTrans is pleased to announce that starting May 20, 2019 a new partnership with Amtrak will be formally in place. The Amtrak Thruway Bus stop, currently located at the Denny’s on Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo, CA will move to the Curtola Park-N-Ride, located at 801 Curtola Parkway in Vallejo, CA 94589.
This new location will have improved ADA accommodations, expand interconnectivity with local services and offer more parking options for passengers.
“Our Thruway Bus service is critical to connecting travelers to our service, beyond where the train itself travels.” said David Lipari, Marketing Manager for the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority. “It is our goal to ensure that our Thruway Bus service is seamless, safe, and reliable. Updates to our route and stops such as this change to the Vallejo bus stop does just that.”
“This is just another way SolTrans is working with their transportation partners to help our riders reach their destination in a safe and comfortable manner.” said Beth Kranda, SolTrans Executive Director.
Plan and book ahead to make sure your seat is reserved. Routes, train schedules and station locations can be found at www.AmtrakSanJoaquins.com. For complete SolTrans bus routes and schedules please visit soltransride.com or call (707) 648-4666.
