    Annual Big Solano BrewHaha Expands to Vallejo Sept 14th
    On a sun soaked Saturday in September, there's no better place to sip beer with friends than at the Big Vallejo Brew-Haha on the waterfront in Vallejo. The September 14th event benefitting Child Haven has been hosted in Fairfield and Vacaville for the past 6 years and has quickly become one of the most popular brew-festival events in the area. Pouring regional craft beers, ciders and ales, as well as a few local wines, the Vallejo Brew-Haha is sure to be the largest. The event supports Child Haven, Inc, Solano County’s oldest and premiere non-profit agency serving children throughout Solano County who have been traumatized by abuse, neglect, domestic and community violence and sexual assault. Child Haven has offices in Fairfield and Vallejo and also see children in schools, in their homes and in the community.
              The outdoor craft beer festival will run from 2pm-5pm and features live music, a raffle for 99 Bottles of Craft Beer and some great local food. Vallejo’s Police Officers and Fire Fighters Associations will be hosting a barbecue competition for a trophy and bragging rights. The Guns and Hoses Cook-off will benefit the two associations. Individual entry to the event includes unlimited samples of local and regional craft brews, ales and limited release specialty beers. Imports, ciders and fruit beers are also on tap, offering something for all tastes. A VIP table for 8 gets early entry to the event at 1:30 with a reserved table a VIP reception. Brewers expected to attend include Mare Island Brewing, True Symmetry, Tannery Bend,Stella Artois, Lost Coast, Lagunitas, Three Rivers, Stone Brewing, Drakes, Gilman Brewing, Calicraft, Auburn Alehouse, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Belching Beaver, Sudwerk, Heretic, Almanac, Epidemic Ales, Knee Deep, Fat Ass Brews and Napa Smith among others. Some great local/ regional wines will be offered as an alternative to the brews. The day will also include home-brewing demos, brew- food pairings and a chance to take home 99 Bottles of Beer.
                The 21+ outdoor event will be held on Saturday September 14th from 2pm-5pm on the Vallejo waterfront near the ferry building. VIP ticket holders get in early at 1:30.
    Tickets for the strolling event are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Reserved VIP Tables are $500. Tickets for the festival only (no beer or wine) will be just $10 and may be purchased online at https://2019bigvallejobrewhaha.eventbrite.com  You will also find the event on Facebook and other social media sites. Vendor space is available as well as limited sponsorships.
    Child Haven has been providing clinical mental health and child development services for Solano County’s most vulnerable children since 1983. Their staff of doctors, therapists, clinical and associate social workers, MFT’s and child development specialists serve about 750 kids annually in the Fairfield offices at Empire and Webster, at the Vallejo office on Georgia Street, or the child’s home or school when appropriate. Child Haven serves children ages infant to 18 and can be referred by doctors, teachers, family court, doctors or parents or caregivers can request services directly by calling 707 425-5744.
