    Job Description

    Local Manufacturer seeking Full Charge Book Keeper!

     

    Bookkeeping
    -Reconcile four different company bank accounts
    -Accrue prepaid expenses and make adjusting entries

    Accounts Payable
    -Receive and approve all bills for payment
    -Batch and prepare for weekly payment
    -Reconcile all payments to Quickbooks and accrue prepaid expenses
    -Allocate and charge back any relevant expenses to at least 6 different suppliers
    -Pay commissions to sales agents
    -Reconcile credit card statements for several different company credit cards
    -Approve expense reports for each employee and reconcile Expensify/Concur to Quickbooks
    -Create spending reports upon request to analyze promotional expenses
    -Develop annual sales and marketing budgets for each supplier

    Accounts Receivable
    -Make deposits
    -Process credit card payments
    -Create and send invoices to customers and suppliers
    -Follow up and collect payment for all invoices from customers and suppliers
    -Field all questions from customers and sales team about payment options
    -Reconcile payment discrepancies, credits and refunds with customers and suppliers
    -Review credit applications and approve customers for credit terms or demand prepayment
    -Maintain and review list of prepay orders for payment and release
    -Receive and reconcile commission payments to each order

    Price Lists
    -Create prices for all products for all countries of sale and sales regions
    -Work with graphic designer to prepare published price lists for each market
    -Prepare price codes and import to order processing system
    -Prepare special prices upon request

    Inventory
    -Order products available for sale based on sales trends and projections
    -Work with sales team to develop sales projections for specific products
    -Work directly with Logistics coordinator to verify monthly inventory
    -Prepare stock report of products available in inventory
    -Keep inventory of wine for events and customer gifts
    -Keep separate wine inventory for sale through a local distributor


    REQUIREMENTS

    The position requires a high attention to detail, analytical skills and experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fluid organization. You must be highly organized and skilled at creating structures and definition in situations that are uncertain or ambiguous.

    -Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online
    -1-2 Years minimum accounting-finance related experience
    -Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
    -Strong communication, analytical, detailed oriented and problem-solving skills
    -Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously with respect for deadlines
    -Extremely organized with good time management skills
    -Excellent customer service skills

    -Versatility, flexibility and the ability to adapt to changes with enthusiasm
