Description of Business/Organization: Benicia Vallejo Humane Society mission of to offer refuge, medical care, nourishment and an opportunity for a second chance for life to unwanted animals; To protect animals from cruelty, neglect, carelessness and ignorance; To foster a public sentiment of humanity and gentleness toward all animals through education and encouragement; And to promote the lifelong commitment of responsible pet ownership. The Organization is divided into two divisions Humane Services runs on donations, grants and fundraising: covers adoptions, community outreach, spay/neuter of owned and feral animals, emergency medical needs of animals, volunteers, fundraising and animal concerns in the community. Animal Services covers the contract with the City of Vallejo for Animal Control in Vallejo.

Personal Information: I am originally from North Carolina. I have a BS in English from Appalachian State University. I began working in the senior housing industry in 1989 in the Washington, DC area and was transferred to Fairfield in 1996 to be part of the marketing team at Paradise Valley Estates. I met and married my husband of ten years, Chuck Johnson, who is a Fairfield native. We enjoy spending time with friends and living where the rest of the world comes for vacation!

Personal Information: Prior to the creation of Enterprise Wireless Solutions John led the Northern California Market as the Director of Sales for Sprint Nextel. During his tenure he implemented the first dedicated Corporate Accounts team in the nation for Sprint Nextel and then went on to implement the first dedicated Government team. John spent 7 years with Sprint prior to Enterprise Wireless Solutions. John has an extensive background in the telecommunications industry with both wired and wireless technology over the last 20 years working for GTE Communications (CLEC), Pacific Bell and Sprint/Nextel. John has worked directly with many of the regions fortune 500 customers as well as many cities, counties and school districts.
John moved to Vallejo in 1988 with his wife Christine who he met in High School while living in the Central Valley. Personal Information: Married for seven years and has 2 kids ages 6 and 4. Has a 17 year career with the company, began as a Ride Operator at Six Flags Over Texas in 1990. Moved to Six Flags Fiesta Texas to become a Park Operations Supervisor in 1992 and then to Astroworld in 1996 as a Rides Supervisor. In 1998, moved to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (named Marine World Africa USA at the time) and stayed there for two years as a Rides Supervisor. Then headed east to Six Flags Great Escape in 2000 where he was the Operations Manager and eventually the Operations Director overseeing the park and the lodge. After leaving last fall for a very brief stint with Great Wolfe Lodge, he now returns to his Six Flags family.

Miyoji Productions provides all the services you would expect from a web site design company, web site design, maintenance and hosting, e-commerce, search engine optimization and even custom content management packages. The core ideas of Miyoji Productions are that every business should have a web site, that web site should do something for the business, the owner of the company should understand what the web site is doing and companies should only need to call one phone number for help, advice or problem solving with any part of the web presence package.

Community Involvement: Miyoji Productions has been very involved in the Solano County communities, donating, time, and resources to many non-profit organizations. Deeply involved in the Vallejo Chamber, Miyoji Productions has been a member of Valnet since the olden days back at 2 Florida Street and the owner, Anthony Shannon sat as chair for one year. In 2006, Miyoji Productions earned the Benicia Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award for community service. After becoming established in the Benicia community, Miyoji Productions turned its attention to the Vallejo community and became involved in Vallejo Rotary.
Personal Information: Anthony Shannon is a San Francisco Bay Area native. Born in San Francisco, raised in Concord, attending Diablo Valley Junior College and later graduating Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with a BA in Broadcast Communication Arts, Anthony has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area almost his entire life. He moved to Benicia and bought a home in 1990 with his life partner Gretchen. After working in video production, Anthony caught the internet wave. In 1998, web sites were out of the price range of many small businesses. Anthony Shannon started Miyoji Productions to provide reasonably priced web sites for businesses who could not afford to hire the large design firms. In 2004, Anthony's son Maximilian Rex was born. The three live in Benicia and are active in both the Benicia and Vallejo communities.
